At Ease // This mix was made today (9/15/10). took me two days to get it sounding right. Two turntables, a shitty newmark mixer, and serato. I made the intro track in ableton live and serato. i have always loved radiohead. i've seen them about 7 times, and have often played them in my mixes (thirty has one). The track Fitter Happier has always killed me, so i wanted to pay some respect. enjoy, and please let me know what u think by some form of communication. my preferred method is using smoke signals. cheers! ps -there's a vid of me making it in the news section...
Crambone // This mix was made for the planning of my trip to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe boarding - one of my favorite things to do in the world. So why do i live in miami? Mila helped me source some of the tracks, as she's one of the best diggers I know. I wanted to put some old stuff in as usual. Download Playlist/Artwork by Mila.
Mashed Potatoes // Mashed potatoes was my version of a good across the board mash-up mix. Two turntables and a mixer with no effects, no nada, just two records playing and talking to each other. Most mash-ups I hear are too short, I like to play as much of the records as possible. Makes me crave my moms mashed potatoes everytime (it doesnt take much already).
Thirty // Made this mix on my thirtieth bday in 2001. Please don't do the math...
Sunstroke // Sunstroke was made in 2004 when i first moved down to Miami. There's nothing better than swimming in the ocean in December. Trip hop, downtempo, and whatever i can fit in...
Summerloving // This was actually a demo for a promoter in San Juan, PR. I got the gig, and played there 2 years ago. Amazing place to play and visit.
Old n Jazzy // Also made in 2004 when i moved to Miami. I was craving old jazzy drum and bass. I used to open the main floor on occasion for jungle nation in the mid to late 90's. This was a 1996 retro mix. Some of my favorite jazzy drum and bass records ever.
Single Digit Warriors - Soundwaves // This is the first track I put out on Turntables on the Hudson Vol 1 compilation circa 1999. (scroll all the way down) thanks nicky for making that one of the tracks u can play on the site!
Chill The Fuck Out // This mix I made back in 2006, but recently re-discovered it. It's an eclectic mix of some of my favorite chill-out tunes put together the only way I know how - with two turntables enjoy! :) Download Playlist.
